Clifton is preceded in death by his parents, W.L. and Martha Davidson Edwards; one brother, Ray Edwards; and one sister, Imogene Stallcup.
Survivors include his loving wife, Geneva Askins Edwards of the home; a daughter, Margaret Russom; son, Jerry Edwards; and two brothers, Billy and Houston Edwards, all of Paragould; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were: Don Edwards, Gary Edwards, Chris Camp, Byron Edwards, Mike Rogers and Brandon Russom.
