Douglas Andrews was born on January 9, 1891 in Davidson County, Tennessee, the son of Charles Francis Andrews (1855–1930) and Sarah Elizabeth (Deberry) Andrews (1855–1926). It is absolutely unknown why the informant on the Death Certificate for Douglas would have listed the mother of Douglas as Virgie Anderson, but . . .
DOUGLAS WAS MARRIED on March 17, 1927 in Williamson County to Virgie Anderson.
A stationary engineer living at 3116 Doak Avenue in Nashville, he was 64 years old, married and diabetic when he died of cirrhosis of the liver at Saint Thomas Hospital on March 30, 1955. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.
Much of the above is from his Death Certificate, with Mrs Virgie Andrews as the informant.
