Later moved to Stark County Illinois. On July 24, 1831 he married Permelia H. Haskins (French descent) at East Cattauragas County, New York. Permelia Haskins was born Feb. 26, 1813 in Ticonderoga Essex County, New York. In 1854 Enos and Permelia bought government land south of Vinton Iowa.
