Calvin J. Dixon, 72, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home.
Born on December 18, 1945 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late John “Jock” and Relda (Stout) Dixon. He married Leslie (Shultz) Dixon on September 17, 1993 in Cumberland, MD: she survives at home. He was previously married to Sandra M. (Shultz) Dixon on July 24, 1965: she preceded him in death on April 17, 1987.
He was of the Christian Faith.
Calvin was retired from Christoff Oil in Houtzdale, PA and was a 1965 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola High School.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sara “Sally” Flood.
Along with his wife Leslie, he is survived by three daughters, Michele Dillon of Philipsburg, PA, Amy Schnarrs & her husband Patrick of Houtzdale, PA and Heather Dixon of Erie, PA; one son, Larry Dixon & his wife Betty of Osceola Mills, PA; one sister, Teresa Love & her husband Mark of Houtzdale, PA; seven grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Robert Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
