Kathryn Jeanette Riley, age 77 of Yantis, Texas passed away on September 30, 2019 in Yantis. The Riley family will receive friends at the Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman, Texas, 1102 East Goode Street, Quitman, TX 75783, on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 6 until 8 PM. She will be brought home to Magee, Mississippi for funeral services to be held on, Saturday, October 5, 2019 through the Colonial Chapel Magee and Mendenhall Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave Southwest, Magee, MS 39111.

Kathryn was born in Smith County, Mississippi to Claude and Lula (Spangler) Tebo on June 13, 1942. She had retired from the premier medical management having served as the manager of bookkeeper/physicians investments for many years. After retirement, She fished on the Women's Bassmasters tour for three years. She and her husband Thomas Reid Riley acquired a second residence in Yantis, Texas, on Lake Fork. Kathryn pursued her love of Tournament fishing as a member of the Dallas Bass-n-Gals bass club.

She will be missed by her church family at the Harmony Assembly of God in Pickton, Texas as well as her fishing family and friends.

Surviving family includes her husband, Thomas Reid Riley of Yantis, TX; son, Eric Harmon of Nashville, TN; daughter, Jennifer Mchaffee of Clinton MS; granddaughters, Emily Smith of Jackson, MS and Lexi Mchaffee of Clinton, MS; sister, Charlene Tanner and many nieces, nephews and friends.
