Claude Tebo, Sr.

Claude Tebo. Sr., 84, of Rt. 1, Mize, died Wednesday, May 7 at Magee General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

A native of Simpson County, he was a retired farmer and a member of Shady Grove Church of God.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. May 8 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements, and interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Smith County.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Claude Tebo of Mize; three daughters, Mrs. Merlene Ainsworth, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Chalrene Tanner and Mrs. Kathryn Harmon, both of Jackson; five sons, James E. Tebo, Thurman L. Tebo, E.R. Tebo, and Claude Tebo, Jr., all of Magee, and Royce E. Tebo, Lafayette, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys McCoIlum, Magee, Mrs. Johnny Myers, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Mrs. Thelma Bush, New Orleans, La.; one brother, Ed Tebo of Magee; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
