He was a member of Lakeside Worship Center in Elizabethtown, and was employed with AGC Automotives Americas of Elizabethtown.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Ashley of Vine Grove, Ky.; four daughters, Bethany (Matthew) Brown of Leitchfield; Tabitha Ashley of Louisville, Ky., Jade Ashley of Leitchfield, and Naomi Ashley of Vine Grove; two sons, Dakota and Josiah Ashley, both of Vine Grove; a step-son, Jacob Cockerell of Owensboro, Ky.; his parents, James Ashley of Central City, Ky. and Jewell Peters of Leitchfield; four sisters, Wanda Langley, Susan Berry and Patricia Kendall, all of Leitchfield, and Mary Belmont of Dover, DE.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Marcus Cockerell.
Burial was in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
