A funeral mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday (June 12, 2004) at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty, with Rev. Craig E. Steimel, officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dougherty.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM Friday in the parish center at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty, where a scriptural wake service will be held at 6 PM.

Edith L. Wihlm was born August 17, 1923 at Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, a daughter of John and Edna (Pierce) Schick.
She was united in marriage to J. Joseph Wihlm on November 25, 1943 at Dougherty.
Edith moved to the Dougherty area in 1942. Her life was centered on her family. She especially enjoyed raising livestock, keeping pets and farming. She will be most remembered for her caring ways and giving to others.
She is survived by her husband, J. Joseph Wihlm, Sheffield; a son, Bernard Wihlm and his wife Carol, Faribault, MN; two daughters, Shirley Campbell and her husband Bill, Mason City; Patricia Balek and her husband Lynn, Mason City; seven grandchildren, Kristine Wihlm, Minnetonka, MN; Julie Wihlm, Faribault, MN; Michael Campbell, Rockwell; Melissa Bart, Sinking Spring, PA; Dawn Balek, Jackson, MS; Cheri Balek, Mason City; Ann Balek, Olympia, WA; two great-grandchildren, Logan Campbell, Mason City; Alexandra "Sashi" Bart, Sinking Spring, PA; three step-brothers; and three step-sisters.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two step-brothers, and six step-sisters.
