Funeral services for Mr. Henry "Junior" Butler Jr., 67, of Dubberly, were to be held at 10 a.m., today, April 4, 2007, at Rose-Neath Chapel with the Rev. George Tarpe officiating. Burial was to follow at Brushwood Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 3.

Mr. Butler was born in Gibsland and died April 2, in Dubberly. He worked in maintenance for Webster Parish Schools and was a member of the Dubberly Volunteer Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Henry Butler, and three brothers, John, Hershel and Jeff Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Amrie R. Butler of Dubberly; four sons, Roger Butler of Dubberly, Jamie Wren and wife Mary of Athens, Kem Butler and wife Patricia of Dubberly and Timmy Hill of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Gayle Smith and husband John of Dubberly; two sisters, Margie Brent and husband Lucky of Minden and Betty Spears and husband J.D. of Sibley; two brothers, Willie B. Butler and wife Georgie of Winnfield and Charlie Butler and wife Glenda of Bellevue; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Perryman, Johnny Brown, Bud Perryman, Kenny Stewart, Donald Barton and Paul Allen Stanfield.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Mims and Roosevelt Moore.
