Charles “Bart” Bruce Bartholomew passed from this life on Friday, October 18, 2019. Bart was born in Lehighton Pennsylvania on August 29, 1944 to Pauline (Smith) Arner. Bart graduated from Lehighton High School in 1962, he then went on to earn his Bachelor of Business Management degree from Rider University on June 5th, 1966. He later enlisted into the Air Force during the Vietnam War, he was one of four out of a class of fourteen students that graduated as an Honor graduate as a Medical Administrative Specialist on October 28th, 1968.

He was then stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. He was later transferred to Biloxi, Mississippi. There he met Barbara Jo Russell, they were later married. After he completed his military service, Bart put his business degree to work in the late 70’s and went to work in the mobile home business. The Mobile Home business, later provided a business opportunity in his Wife, Barbara's home state of Oklahoma. He started a booming business and later had a daughter with his wife Barbara. Kelly (Bartholomew) Gomez. They would divorce after 18 years of marriage.

He later found love again and married his second wife Cynthia Bartholomew. Bart enjoyed hunting, and the outdoors. He was a very loving, caring and passionate individual. He loved hard, and gave his whole heart in the process. You will be missed Bart, Rest In Peace.

He is preceded in death by his parents Pauline Arner, Ernest Arner, his first wife Barbara Jo Russel and his second wife Cynthia Bartholomew.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Kelly and her husband Mario Gomez of Norman, Oklahoma.

His four grandchildren Elizabeth Paige Bartholomew, Ana Gomez, Madi Gomez, Graceson Lil Bart Gomez, his step daughters Kathy, Karen, Konnie and many step grand children and great grand children.

Bart’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:00PM at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, 1109 N. Porter Ave. Norman, OK 73071. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman, OK.
