Mr. Calvin Douglas Lewis, age 60, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, entered into heaven, Friday evening, October 25, 2019, at St. Claire Healthcare Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born July 5, 1959, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Jack Lewis and Janet Stamper.

Calvin enjoyed fishing, sitting on the porch, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Haley Henderson, and one brother, Larry Lewis.

Calvin leaves behind his companion of 35 years, Melinda Henderson; his five children, Jeremy Henderson, Nathan Henderson, Jason Duncan, Cassey Dummitt, and Ashley Henderson, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, Austin Henderson, Santanna Henderson, Skyla Henderson, Miley Henderson, David Stanley, Brent Dummitt, Gracie Dummitt, Cody Duncan, Carly Duncan and Isiah Duncan; two brothers, Robert Lewis of Logan, West Virginia, and Ted Stone of Ohio; and two sisters, Sue Crocket of Wagoner, South Carolina, and Garnet Underwood of Olive Hill, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019, at the Bethel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Kyle Burchett officiating.

Nathan Henderson, Jeremy Henderson, Jason Lewis, Buck Duncan, Blake Lewis, and Austin Henderson will serve as pallbearers.
