Jerry Lee Hoover, 69, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Granbury.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the funeral home.

Jerry was born March 19, 1947 in San Angelo, TX to Clinton and Lillie Hoover. He was a trusting person, with faith in the goodness of people. Jerry had a happy disposition, with a great sense of humor. He loved to laugh. Jerry took guitar lessons, enjoyed drawing and playing chess. He had a vivid imagination. Jerry was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: aunt Noni Lister; cousins, Toni Belew and husband Charles, Dee Collins and husband Pete, Melody Schotte, Tammy Glover and husband Mike, John Raymond Hoover and wife Michelle, Mike Hoover; lots of extended family; his caregiver and adopted family member Samantha Starkes and husband James; and adopted dog Leelou.
