Born June 14, 1913, in Pee Dee, S.C., he died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Allen was a highly esteemed electrical engineer with Wells Gardner for 30 years.
Carroll was the husband of Genevieve C. (nee Osborne); father of Carol A. (Jerry) Dinelli of Mundelein and Arthur J. (Patricia) Allen of California, Ky.; grandfather of Deborah (Clifford) Cully-Drew, Pamela (Marco) Cully-Barbeau and Amanda Robinson; great-grandfather; uncle of many nieces and nephews; and friend of many.
Arrangements were made by Oehler Funeral Home, Des Plaines.
