Charles Ray Robinson, Sr. of Clay City, Kentucky loving husband of Shelia Lykins Robinson departed this life Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 1 day. He was a son of the late George and Hazel Clemons Robinson born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 30, 1953. He was retired from Pepsi. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Lykins Robinson of Clay City, Kentucky; two sons, Charles Ray Robinson II and Timothy Ryan Robinson both of Clay City, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Zachary Ashcraft, Braydon Townsend and Rylin Robinson; two special little girls he considered his daughters, Shania Robinson and Katie Robinson; one brother, Eddie Robinson of Chillicothe, Ohio; two sisters, Carolyn Green of Brown County, Indiana and Susie Robinson of Louisville, Kentucky; his mother-in-law Lucille Lykins of Campton, Kentucky; a special sister-in-law Karen Hayes that stayed through it all and his wife's aunt Lorene Conley of Campton, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel Clemons Robinson; one brother, Timothy Wayne Robinson and one sister, Cathy Robinson. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Serving as pallbearers; Drew Robinson, Daniel Clair, Mitchell Clair, Tommy Clair, Whitty Hayes, Britt Conley, Larry Spurlock and Melvin Burger.
