Major League Baseball Player. He played Major League baseball as a pitcher for nine seasons (1912, 1914 to 1915, 1917 to 1922) with the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs and New York Giants. He pitched in the 1918 World Series for the Cubs, and in the 1921 World Series for the Giants.
