Agnes Dixie Beal was born on July 25, 1944, and she passed away in her sleep on October 20, 2019. Dixie was a devoted military wife to Burnell for 49 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to her two children, Rich & Susan. She was a proud grandmother to her five grandchildren, Cassidy, Delaney, Jackson, Brody & Dolon. She was an eccentric aunt, a responsible sister, a fun sister-in-law, and a friend to countless people throughout her 75 years of life.
Dixie received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Florida. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Pensacola. She worked at East Hill Christian School as a K4 Teacher, and then at Bellview Baptist Church Childcare as the Director. She was proud to be a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association where she served faithfully for 40 years.
Dixie is preceded in death by her father, Richard William Jones, her mother, Agnes Curry Jones and her brother, Richard William Jones, Jr. She is survived by her brother, Bert Jones (Dolores), her husband, Burnell Beal, her children, Rich Beal (Jennifer) and Susan Babcock (Tim), her grandchildren, Cassidy Beal, Delaney Beal, Jackson Beal, Brody Beal and Dolon Babcock and many other people who loved her very much.
