East Liverpool - James Robert Anderson Jr., 61, of East Liverpool, pased away Monday, Oct. 21, 2019 at the Valley Oaks Care Center, after fighting a battle with cancer.

Born Aug. 20, 1958 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late James Robert & Susan Ann Burton-Anderson, Sr.

James was also preceded in death by his brother, David Lee Anderson, and nephews David & Joseph "JoJo" Anderson

He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. James was a hardworking man; he worked for over 20 years at Alliance Steel until he relocated to Marsh Bellofram where he worked for 15 years.

You could always find James sitting at the diamond or at the wharf in East Liverpool and if he wasn't there, he was enjoying his dinner at his favorite place, Eisley's, now known as Bricker's Cafe. James was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

James will be extremely missed by his son, Jason Robert Anderson and his wife Allison, of Canfield, Ohio; daughter, Heidi Jo McWhorter of Monaca; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In fulfilling James' wishes, no services are planned, and the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester has been entrusted wkith his care.
