Born in East Liverpool on April 11, 1931, Mr. Anderson was the son of the late Robert and Margaret (Ronhausen) Anderson. He had lived his entire life in East Liverpool, working as a Tool Setter at the Homer Laughlin China Co. until retiring in 1993 and owned and operated the Anderson's Lawn Mower Repair and Saw Sharpening.
He was a Veteran serving with the U.S. Army and was a member of Post 374 of the American Legion in East Liverpool.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Ann (Burton) Anderson in 2003, they were married in 1957.
Survivors include two sons, James "Bobby" Anderson and David L. Anderson both of East Liverpool, two sisters, Mildred "Mitzi" Mercer of Calcutta and Marci Brenneman of Tampa, Florida. Five grandchildren, David, Christopher, Joseph, Jason, and Katie Anderson and one Great Granddaughter, Kaylee Anderson.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marybelle Bayer and Susie Stovall.
Private services will be held at a later date with burial to follow in Columbiana Co. Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes.
