Charles was born October 4, 1934 in Reynolds, Indiana, son of William and Mary (Riggleman) Bell. He married Jan Kay Archey November 8, 1959. She preceded him in death December 27, 2011.
Charles was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion in Sullivan. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed wood-working. Charles was a switchman for the railroad for several years, a truck driver for many years, and then a maintenance supervisor for a nursing home in Lafayette, Indiana for 7 years, until his retirement.
Surviving are his son, Chuck Bell of Bethany; daughters, Amy Fletcher and husband, Kevin of Austin, Texas, and Dorinda Screen and husband, Richard of Arizona; grandchildren, Haley, Kevin , Jeff, and Aaron; great-granddaughters, Madi and Kinsley and brother, Howard Bell of Montpelier, Ohio.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Bradley; daughter, Donna, and brother, Lamoine.
