Raymond M. Weyer, 75, of North Fond du Lac, formerly of Lomira, died Monday, December 16, 2002, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

He was born on May 8, 1927, in Lomira, a son of Michael and Rose (née Greuel) Weyer.

On August 6, 1949, he married Margaret Klebesadel at Lomira.

He attended Lomira High School, served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II.

He was a member of Bintzler-Waehler American Legion Post 347 of Lomira. He retired from Mercury Marine. Ray enjoyed bowling, bingo and traveling.

Survivors include his children, Michaela Weyer of Spring Green, Robin (James) Dalle Nogare of Oakfield, Leslie (Gerianne) Weyer of Brownsville, Bruce (Debbie) Weyer of Campbellsport, Pam Schroeder of Fond du Lac, Beth (Melvin) Grantman of Lomira, Joe (Deb) Weyer of Lomira, Dawn Fitzsimmons of Lomira, and Jill Weyer of Florida; 29 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Mary Theisen of Fond du Lac; and a sister, Barbara (Lyle) Thome of Malone.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Margaret; one son, Kenneth; and one granddaughter, Samantha Weyer.

Services: Funeral services will be held at St. May's Catholic Church in Lomira. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
