Vance Wesley “Sonny” Tessner, 74 of Maryville, TN died Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Knoxville, TN.
Born March 17, 1945 in Premier, WV he was the son of the late Marvin W. “Bill” McCarthy and Norma Virginia Perkey McCarthy.
Sonny was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Louise Sandlin Tessner of Maryville, TN; three daughters, Terri Kasecamp and husband Lawrence of Frostburg, MD, Kim Dusek and husband Brad of Martinsburg, WV, and April Byrd and fiancé Brian Barlow of Princeton; and two sons, T.J. Tessner and wife Roxanne and Shane Neukam and fiancé Maria Thrasher all of Tampa, FL.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Reverend Larry Dyer officiating. The U.S. Navy Honor Guard will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Saturday.
