Lutitia was born in Centerville, Iowa to Jesse Monroe and Mary Ellen Moss Dukes. They moved to Lucas, Iowa where her father worked in the coal mines and later moved to Woodburn, Iowa.She went to school at Warrensburg, Missouri, "Normal Training" and she taught school until marrying Frank Boor. One of the schools at which she taught was the Fox School north of Woodburn. Lutitia and Frank Boor had three children; Ray Harlan, Russel Warren and Maude Eleanor. Bio by Milton Johnson.

Lutitia Dukes Boor, 76, widow of Frank Boor, died Monday at the Bob Funston home in Osceola where she had been cared for for the past two years.

She had been a resident of Clarke county the most of her life.

Surviving are two sons, Ray of Denver, Colo., and Russell of Woodburn; a daughter, Mrs. Maude Niblo of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Johnson, Egbert, Wyo., Mrs. Edith Gardner, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. O. F. Clark of Osceola; and one brother, A. A. Dukes of Sacramento, California.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Woodburn this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Lloyd A. Latta officiating. Burial at Woodburn cemetery.
