Norma Grace Hamilton, died on Friday, July 6, 2007.

Born May 24, 1928 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Adam and Maude Ethel (Rhoten) Blair.

She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Charlene Elizabeth Blair, and Wilda Margaret (Blair) Wilson; and her parents. Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 51 years, Cecil Loy Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children: son, Ronald Gene Hamilton of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Lynette and Mike Baptiste of Shawnee, OK; and son and daughter-in-law, Cecil Blair and Angela Hamilton of Claremore, OK; her grandchildren, Amy Tucker, Joseph Hamilton, Blaze Wiggins, Heath, Brooke, Logan and Dax Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Lydia Hamilton, Jesse and Ross Tucker, and Neo Hamilton.

She was a member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church, the Rose Garden Club, Tuesday Bridge Club (Embroidery Club), Oklahoma Retired Teachers, Historical and Genealogical Societies.

Burial will be July 10, 2007 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Mrs Hamilton was my freshman English teacher. She also was a close classmate to my Aunt. I played softball with her daughter Rhonda.
