(Smith) Cookman, 91, of Anderson, passed away on Oct. 15, 2019, at IU Health Saxony Hospital, Fishers. She was born in Anderson on Nov. 14, 1927, to Basil and Mabel (Keller) Smith.
Dorothy retired from St. John's Hospital in 1991 having worked in medical records. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson.
She is survived by her children, Bryan Cookman of Anderson, Beth (Fred) Glynn of Carmel; grandchildren, Jama (Ryan) Ott of Pendleton, Jayda Glynn of Carmel; great-grandchildren, Keira and Gabriella Ott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Cookman.
