Linda Kay Blake, 70, of Waverly died Nov. 11, 2016, after a short but brave battle with cancer, surrounded by the love she had always shown to her kids and grandkids. She was born Oct 28, 1946, to Don and Avis (Story) Smith. Linda lived life to the fullest, always filling a room with laughter. She put a priority on spending time with her friends and family, never missing an opportunity to travel, giving her kids and grandkids memories of a lifetime.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Steve Blake; sons, Todd (Allison) Corliss, Keith (Cindy) Blake, Darren (Tammy) Blake, Craig (Lori) Blake; travel buddies and brothers, Danny (Becky) Smith, Randy (Cindy) Smith, sister, Tammy Ready; partners in crime and best buds Karen and Roger Grant; 10 grandkids and countless other friends and family.

Memorial service 1 p.m., November 16 at Capitol City Christian Church, 84th and Holdrege, with a celebration to follow at Havelock Social Hall. Condolences online at aspenaftercare.com.
