She was 17 years of age when their marriage took place in Detroit, Michigan. The witnesses were John and Mary Boga, from Detroit, Michigan.
In 1927, Delorean became a naturalized citizen of the U.S., with a documented birthdate of September 17, 1895 (engraved on the headstone is "1894"). His trade specialty was carpentry. Delorean's WWII draft registration card of 1942, states that he resided in Detroit, Michigan, and was employed at the Ford Motor Company auto factory called the Rouge Plant, of Dearborn, Michigan.
The couple had four sons during the duration of their marriage: Their eldest son was John Zachary DeLorean (1925-2005), American engineer, inventor, and executive in the U.S. automobile industry, most widely known for his work at General Motors and as founder of the DeLorean Motor Company.
Delorean died on September 13, 1955, and rests in memory at Evergreen Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
