Funeral Held at Glenwood for Roy Carter
Funeral services were held at Glenwood Wednesday afternoon for Roy Carter, 58, who died Sunday at his home in American Fork. A brother-in-law, Terrance Larson of Glenwood assisted with funeral arrangements.
Mr. Carter was born at Provo, a son of Edmund and Emeline Whipple Carter. He spent his early life at Glenwood moving from there to Delta twenty years ago. Three years ago after the death of his wife, Maria Larson Carter, the family moved to American Fork.
Surviving are four sons, Orvil of Pleasant Grove, Donald of Heber City, Harold and Junior C. Carter of American Fork; five daughters, Mrs. Naomi Webb of Deseret, Miss Marella Perry of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Mildred Olsen of Vineyard, Linda and Lena Carter of American Fork; a sister, Mrs. Jas. Bonny of Provo; two half brothers, Edson Adair of Heber City and Bert Adair of Provo and eleven grandchildren.
