Mr. Edwin Larry Wilson, 83, of Twin City passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Wilson was born August 3, 1936 in Twin City, GA. to the late Obie Wilson and Elma Greene Wilson. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise Sharpe Wilson; brothers, James Larsen Wilson and Donald Ray Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Twin City First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Debbie Johnson (Jesse) and Sharon Sammons, both of Twin City; grandchildren, Asa Jesse Larry Johnson (Jessica) and Angel Oliver (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Salena Ashton, Cason, Braxton, Chloe Bailey Grace; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 9, 2019, 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Elder Mike Gray and Rev. Jonathan Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jesse Johnson, Jefferey Brewer, Buck Brown, Ricky Fulmer. Honorary pallbearer Larry Womack.
