Mrs. Louise Sharpe Wilson, 76, of Twin City died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro following an extended illness.
Mrs. Wilson was born October 12, 1937 in Quincy Florida to the late Theodore S. Sharpe and Bessie Lee Sharpe. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billie Sharpe and Ray Sharpe; sisters, Eloise Hilliard, Marsha Pugh and Bernice Collins. Mrs. Wilson was a life long resident of Emanuel County. She worked with the Ogeechee Behavioral Health Services until retirement. Mrs. Wilson loved to baby sit, cook, and plant flowers. She was a member of the Twin City First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, July 5, 2014 with Reverends Mike Gray and Wilmer Hall officiating. Interment will be in the Coleman Cemetery in Twin City.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, July 4, 2014 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Louise Sharpe Wilson to Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donehoo St., Statesboro GA.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of the arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Louise S. Wilson, 76, of Twin City.
