Walter Eugene Cole, 77, husband of Shirley Ann Durham Cole, passed away October 5, 2019, at his residence.
Born in Anderson County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Amos Ackerman Cole and Clarice Cromer Cole.
Mr. Cole was a bulk mail carrier and had a great love of bluegrass.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife; sister in laws and their families, several cousins and his beloved cat Maggie.
A Funeral Service will be held 4 pm, Monday, October 7, 2019 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 pm, prior to the service. The family is at the residence. Flowers are accepted.
