Mary E. Baugher, age 87, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 04, 2019 at Centerville Specialty Care.
Mary was born on July 10, 1932 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Sam and Edna (McConnell) Manganello. She was united in marriage to Chester Baugher on September 25, 1952 in Sewal, Iowa. To this union of marriage, Chester and Mary were blessed with seven children, Sally, Rosemary, Bonnie, Loraetta, Joann, Johnny, and Mark.
Throughout her lifetime, Mary enjoyed many hobbies, including needlework, sewing, and gardening. She was also very passionate about helping other people, such as her elderly neighbors. Most importantly, Mary cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends.
Mary was a longtime member of the Centerville Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her three children, Rosemary Melsa of Centerville, Iowa, Loraetta (Bill) Tolles of Rose Hill, Iowa, and Joann Craven of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Matt, Tanya, April, Tiffany, David, Mary, Nathan, Dylan, and Skyler; as well as nine great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester Baugher; four children, an infant daughter, Sally, Bonnie Buban, Mark Baugher, and Johnny Baugher; and siblings, Hazel Conn, Charlie Manganello, Louie Manganello, Frankie Manganello, Joe Manganello, and Harley Manganello.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Walter King officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with the family greeting friends from 1-2 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to EveryStep Hospice, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
