Brandon L. Monroe, 34, of Dover, DE, formerly of Walden, NY, and a jet mechanic for Evergreen, Inc., Dover, DE, died Sunday, June 20, 2010, Dover.

The son of Wesley and Elizabeth Dolson Monroe, he was born February 7, 1976, in Middletown, NY. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Monroe of Elmira, NY; wife, Melissa Lewis of Tennessee; longtime companion, Kristine Marco of Dover, DE; three sons: Nicholas Lewis, Brandon Monroe, and Elijah Monroe; one step-daughter, Elizabeth Marco; one brother, Gerald Monroe of Corning, NY; one sister, Rhonda Cooper and her husband, Curtis of Horseheads, NY; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
