John Plender died at the home of his son Jacob Plender in this city this morning about 4 o'clock of a complication of diseases. The deceased was 77 years and 5 months old at the time of his death. The funeral services will take place from the 4th Reformed church tomorrow at 2 o'clock after which the remains will be laid to rest in the cemetery north of this city. In his death he leaves two sons L. Plender of Sioux county and Jacob Plender of this city.
