Carlton "Carl" Nash was born on Nov. 14, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana to loving parents, father L.T. Nash & Mother Mattie Mae Nash. He was the second of six children born to this union. On September 2, 1979, he married his "Baby Girl" Midori. They were blessed with 2 children: Cessi Charmaine & Knisha Telaine. Carlton was a passionate, caring, loving father to all of his children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Carlton always wanted family & friends in his home. You couldn't leave his house without some kind of discussion that made you think twice about life. A teacher at his core. He was straight forward with his thoughts & could make you laugh for days later. He loved his cars & always kept them top notch. He taught us all how to drive! He loved Golf & valued his faith; that of which he called upon daily. On September 22, 2019, Carlton took his last breath & headed on his journey from Loma Linda University Medical Center. He joins his mother, Mattie Mae, his brother, Westley Nash, his uncle, Willie "Bud" Joyner, his nephews; Kenji D. Nash & Andre "Pooka" King Jr. He leaves cherished memories that will fill our hearts for a life time to the love of his life Midori Nash, daughter's; Cessi & Knisha, & his grandchildren Jessilynn James & Jason Jailyll James, his father L.T. Nash, his brother Frankie Nash & sisters; Sheila "Peekie" Cruz-Trotter, Lyric Nash, & Katina Nash, alongside a host of nieces, nephews & other loving family members & friends.
