Sheila Annette Adkins Farmer, 53, of 213 Faith Court Danville, VA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sheila was born on October 15, 1965 in Danville, VA, daughter of James Edward Adkins and Gloria Baynes Adkins.

She spent all of her life in the Danville area where she was the Operations Manager for Danville Distributing for 23 years. She served on the Board of Directors for the Harvest Jubilee and was of the Baptist faith.

On May 18, 2018, she married Timothy Riddle Farmer, who survives of the residence.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sheila is survived by children, Lexus Jordan Khan, Jamir Zyed Khan and Thomas Hail Moore all of Danville, VA; grandson, Thomas Hail Moore, Jr.; brother, James Edward Adkins, Jr. of Danville, VA; and faithful companion, Stella.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Richie Underhill and the Reverend Frank Moreno officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main is respectfully serving the Farmer family.
