Elmer Ray Davis, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Davis was born in Wayne County on October 20, 1930 to the late Dillard and Sadie Ferrell Davis.
He was the husband of the late, Kathryn Rowe Edwards Davis.
He is survived by his two daughters, Rae Ann Davis of Pikeville and Susie Teachey and husband, Jim of Pikeville.
Homegoing services will be held Friday, September 26, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.
