Married Nancy Catherine Garber on February 15, 1876; eight known children, Edward Octor Moomaw, Margaret Catherine Moomaw, Charles Rice Moomaw, William Orsina Moomaw, Franklin Omega Moomaw, David Bowman Moomaw, Daniel Yount Moomaw, and John Calvin Moomaw. (William and Franklin were twins; David and Daniel were twins.)

DEATH OF LORDSBURG CITIZEN
A. J. Moomaw died at his home in Lordsburg this morning at five o'clock, aged sixty-five years. The deceased had only lived in Lordsburg about a year, coming there in poor health. He leaves a widow and ten children, all of whom reside at the place of his death except one child who lives in Virginiam the old home of the Moomaws. Funeral services have not been arranged.

DEATH OF A. J. MOOMAW
A. J. Moomaw passed away at his home in Lordsburg at 5:30 o'clock on Thursday morning at the age of 66 years. The deceased was a native of Virginia and had resided in Missouri for forty years previous to his coming to Lordsburg seven months ago.
Interment will be mad in the cemetery at Lordsburg. The time of the funeral will be published later.

LORDSBURG NEWS NOTES
LORDSBURG, Sept 30.... The funeral of A. J. Moomaw was held from the church of the Brethren this morning at eleven o'clock, interment was made in the Evergreen cemetery....
