Barbara J. Dwyer, 76, of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Harrisburg Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 29, 1942 in Philadelphia.

Barbara was an Administrative Assistant for National Sexual Violence Resource Center and a counselor at Bethesda Mission.

Later in life, she became a licensed Massage Therapist.

Barbara was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her father: John E. Dilliplane; and, her mother: Ruth (Cody) McCaffrey.

Surviving are her husband: Robert E. Dwyer; two daughters: Karen D. Gregor and her husband John of Pedricktown, New Jersey and Kelly A. Hollingsworth of Harrisburg; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister: Elaine Caras and her husband Nicholas of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and, her brother: John Dilliplane and his wife Susan of New Hope.

Viewing will be at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 01:00 PM. Following the viewing, funeral services will begin at 01:00 PM.
