While living in Kansas, they had 5 other children:Mary was born in October 1879, Flora in 1883, William "Bill" in 1888, Nehemiah "Nick" in 1889 and James "Jim" in 1892.
He was the Husband of Rebecca Wilson Beal Dean. Sometime after his death, Rebecca and all the kids with the exception of Mary moved to northeastern Oklahoma and settled there. Mary remained in Weir to marry and raise a family there.
