Information found in the book Buell Family in America: p283. Levi was 8th child of David Buell (1737-1815) (F-A-G #113100944). David's wife was Mary Hurd (1741-1806).
Levi was married three times, his first wife was Phebe Cory (1779-1803) who died in Fairfield, Herkimer County, NY. They had two sons.
Levi next married Orinda Irene Sharpe by whom he had eight children.
Levi married 3rd Penelope Winchester Roberts by whom he had five sons.
Many of the family migrated westward to Michigan. The stone was purchased by his son Dewitt Clinton Buell, and also memorializes the in laws of Dewitt the Darling family.
