GRAPEVINE --
Harold Ray Ashcraft, 75, of Grapevine (Grant County), died Sunday at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital at Little Rock.
He was born Nov. 18, 1928, at Sheridan, a son of the late Hollis Delmon Ashcraft and Mabel Fielding Ashcraft.
He served in the armed forces during the Korean War.
He was a retired truck driver for Freeman Oil Company.
He was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church at Grapevine.
He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Dean Ashcraft; and two brothers, Hollis Delmon Ashcraft Jr. and Thomas Ashcraft.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Gwin Ashcraft; three sons, Earl Ray Ashcraft and Robert "Bobby" Allen Ashcraft, both of Sheridan, and Anthony Wayne Ashcraft of Grapevine; one daughter, Carolyn Ashcraft of Sheridan; one sister, Audra Clement of Grapevine; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan with the Revs. Jim Bradshaw and Ronald Young officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery at Grapevine.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
