Also found as Jno. Death dates found varied by transcripts. 43y 8m 25dMarried Delda Richards January 1st 1918. They had seven children, Ida Mae , Chris, Eddie, Florence, Betty, Jack, and Harry. In March of 1930, John was injured in a coal mining accident at the No. 2 Ritz mine near Cairnbrook, Pa. There was a new operator pulling the cars out of the mine that day. They were pulling the cars up an incline when suddenly the cars broke loose and came back down the incline. The miners were jumping out of the way into small crevices. John didn't make it and was crushed between the small coal cars. He was taken to Central City Hospital. He received about 126 stitches in his body. He passed away in May of 1930.
