---Wanda L. Crawford, age 83 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, Missouri.
---Born November 1, 1935 in rural La Plata, Missouri, the daughter of Everet and Ruby (Marquith) Billings. On December 26, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was united in marriage to Noel Crawford who preceded her in death on May 8, 2014.
---Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, George and Jay Billings; one sister, Sue Miles; and one son-in-law, Mark Kelley.
---Surviving are three children, Kimbra Kelley of La Plata, Missouri, Kyle Crawford and wife Becky of Kirksville, Missouri, and Krista Cochran and husband Pat of Kirksville, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Bliss (Chad) Horne, Slater (Alyssa) Kelley, Beau (Ashley) Crawford, Brady (Jillian) Crawford, Jeb (Mandi) Cochran, Grif (Christina) Cochran, Bailey Nacy, and Riley Johnson; and eleven great grandchildren, Kellen Horne, Hazel and Dean Kelley, Tate and Dylan Crawford, Rowan Crawford, Hayden, Harper, Fowler, and Aurelia Cochran, and Carter Nacy.
---Wanda lived most of her life in the La Plata Community. She was a 1953 graduate of La Plata High School and a longtime and faithful member of the Community Presbyterian Church in La Plata. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, working with Noel on the farm and various construction projects around La Plata, and spending time with her family.
---Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 in the La Plata Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Scott McNay.
