Vera Florence Austin married Jack Edgar Moore in Bethany, Harrison County, Missouri on 7 December 1941. Their children were: Charles, Cheryl, Twin daughters Beverly Jean and Barbara Jane, Jeanette, Susan, and Jay. Barbara Jane died at birth in 1946. Charles died in 1971, and Beverly Jean in 2013. At the time of Vera's death in 2016 there were 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 5 gt.gt. grandchildren. One grandson, Caleb Moore, was deceased and a grandson-in-law, Tadd Bainum, was deceased.
