Mr. Larry Edward Riley, age 72, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, entered into rest, Monday evening, September 16, 2019 at St. Claire Healthcare Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born May 6, 1947, in Carter County Kentucky, a son of the late William and Zola Fultz Riley.
Larry was of the Christian faith and he enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Riley.
Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Stamper Riley; one son, Edward Riley of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Tammy Wiley (Evan) of Garner, North Carolina; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five brothers, Oscar Riley (Pat), Donnie Riley (Nelma), Carl Riley (Alva), Gary Riley, and Allen Riley, all of Morehead, Kentucky; and one sister, Clista Adkins of Morehead, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Jeremy Trayer and Brother Allen Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Fultz Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019, and after 9 a.m. on Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
