She was born March 14, 1942 in Vincennes to Clarence "Buck" and Cora (Greemore) Ivers.
Linda enjoyed stitching, cooking, and gardening. She loved her home and enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren in her home as their family and friends were always welcomed there where she cooked meals for them among other things.
Surviving are her children,her grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and a sister, Susie Young of Vincennes.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James "Mick" Hancock whom she married on April 1, 1967 and preceded her on January 11, 2015; and brothers and sisters. Alva Ivers, Burdette Raney, Betty Beard, Jack Ivers, Donald Ivers, Shirley Ivers, Vera Hawkins, and Gayle Ivers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Don Fausnaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
