He was born August 3, 1939 in Beach Grove, Kentucky to Luther W. and Eloise L. (Corum) Jones.
David worked for McDonald's Corporate inhouse as he built many McDonald's in Washington and Oregon. When David moved backed to Vincennes, he retired from Vincennes University as a night clerk. A graduate of Lincoln High School, he served in the National Guard and was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. David enjoyed wood carving and antique cars.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy (Sproat) Jones, whom he married on March 25, 1967; his mother, Eloise (Corum) Jones of Vincennes; his children; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and his four sisters,

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Walker Hatton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the se
