Mary Sue Copeland Ealy Etters, age 84, of Clinton, SC, died Friday, June 29, 2007, in the Laurens County Hospital.

Born in Laurens County, SC; daughter of the late Harrison Adair Copeland and Mary Nabors Copeland.

Retired from Whitten Center; a lifelong member of Hurricane Baptist Church and participated in Senior Options.

Last surviving member of her immediate family; survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Mary Bailey.

Predeceased by her first husband, Alva Emory Ealy; second husband, Henry Reed Etters; sister, Lucille Copeland Lawson (1914-1993); and two brothers, Mayfield Copeland (1912 – 1971) and Harold Nabors Copeland (1920-2001).

Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Hurricane Baptist Church; interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family received friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, at the Abel Family Life Center.
