Jacob Garrison died last Friday evening at the home of his brother, Isaac Garrison, in Littleton Township. He was born in Butler County, OH on April 9, 1817 and came to this county in 1849, where he has since resided. Mr. Garrison professed religion in his early years and lived a Christian life until death. Funeral services were held on Sunday, at the Bethany Church, conducted by Elder Dillard. From the Rushville Times, May 3, 1894.

Jonathan had 22 kids who survived to adulthood. Jacob is the last of Mary's before she died. (submitted by Barbara Garrison.)
