JOHN PRUETT
April 5, 1955 ~ September 6, 2019

John Thomas Pruett was born April 5, 1955 in Paris, TX the son of Hirom Ezekiel McFarland and Mary Pruett. John grew up in the McCurtain County area.

He had worked at the Valliant Mill as a laborer and also worked building fences. Before becoming disabled, John enjoyed being active. He loved action, racing cars, crocheting, and could build a diesel truck out of whatever material was available to him.

John enjoyed watching TV and his favorite movie’s over and over again. John being very conscientious was willing to help anyone in need, even if that left him without anything.

He considered friends his family, such as Eva Mae Clark, who he considered his second mother and her two sons Billy and Tony Sommers as his brothers. Marshall, who John considered his Brother-in-law prayed together several times. He had many questions but he knew that there is a God and that God is over all.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his Aunt Evelyn Ramsey who raised him.

He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Taylor and Hirom Ezekiel McFarland Jr.; Special friend Marshall Littleton of Idabel, OK along with many loved family and friends.
